Kids/Teenager Madrasah​

Kids/Teenager Madrasah (Sept 2025-July 2026) – Operating during school term times only.
Venue: The BSA centre, 26 Ferryman Rd, Lboro LE11 1GF)

Kids Madrasah / Qur’an Classes:
(Mon – Wed):

Group 1 (4:40-5:40pm): Suitable for 5-7 year olds – Early years ed. Learning Islam through play & fun activities.

Group 2 (4:40-5:40pm): Suitable for 7-9 year olds – Towards learning how to read the Qur’an (Qa’idah).

Group 3 (6-7pm): Suitable for 7-16. Qur’an class for boys. This class is only for those who can read the Qur’an. Improve Qur’an recitation with basic Tajweed. Group size are limited to approx. 5-8 students per teacher. There are 3 male teachers.

Group 4 (6-7pm): Suitable for 7-16. Qur’an class for girls only. This class is only for those who can read the Qur’an. Improve Qur’an recitation with basic Tajweed. Group size are limited to approx. 5-8 students per teacher. There are 3 female teachers.

Group 5 (7:15-8:15pm): Suitable for 7-16. Qur’an class for boys. This class is only for those who can read the Qur’an. Improve Qur’an recitation with basic Tajweed. Group size are limited to approx. 5-8 students per teacher. There are 3 male teachers.

Kids/Teenager Madrasah: Understanding Islam (Thursdays & Fridays):

Level 1: Middle childhood education (Suitable for 7-9year olds).

Level 2: Early adolescent education (Suitable for 10-12 year olds).

Level 3: Early adolescent education (Suitable for 13-15 year olds).

Weekend Hifdh Program of Selected parts of the Qur’an:

  • Suitable for students aged 8+ who are fluent in reading the Qur’anLevel 2: Early adolescent education (Suitable for 10-12 year olds).
  • Every Saturdays & Sundays 11:30am-12:30pm.

Children will be taught the essentials of Islam from a suitable textbook pitched at their level.  Subjects include:
1.       Fiqh: Learning the rulings of Prayer etc
2.       Aqidah: The Islamic Creed/Tenets of faith
3.       Hadith: Understand/discuss a collection of short prophetic sayings.
4.       Seerah: Biography of the Prophet
5.       Tarikh: Stories of other Prophets/Messengers
6.       Adab/Akhlaq: Islamic Etiquettes & Morals
